That whole viral dance to 'Goo Goo Muck' wasn't handed to Jenna Ortega by a choreographer, she made it up herself. She pulled moves from Bob Fosse, Siouxsie Sioux and the goth kids she used to watch at 80s clubs, then stitched it all together into something that somehow feels exactly like Wednesday Addams.
During filming, Tom Hiddleston asked Owen Wilson if he'd ever played Hamlet, a nod to Hiddleston's own stage background. Wilson joked that nobody, not even his old collaborator Ben Stiller, had ever asked him that, though he did rattle off the opening line of The Two Gentlemen of Verona for good measure.

It's a fun bit of casting when you consider Trejo had already built a career playing tough, world-weary characters, and Raul, an old gunslinger who's outlived pretty much everyone he ever cared about, fits that mould nicely.

In one episode Rick and Morty get interrupted mid-Minecraft session, and when Morty complains, Rick just shrugs that South Park already did this joke four years earlier. Morty replies that they're fast, and Rick corrects him that actually they're just slow, a cheeky nod to the fact South Park writes and airs episodes within the same week while Rick and Morty doesn't release anything until a whole season is finished.
