Geoffrey Rush apparently has a theory that most people's eyes are naturally drawn to the left side of a screen first, so as Barbossa he tried to position himself there in shots whenever he could. Whether or not the theory holds up, it's a nice bit of insight into how deliberately he built the performance.
Ubisoft ran a public contest called the UJAM Voice of Assassin's Creed Revelations, and the winner, Madeline Bell, actually got her vocals featured on the finished soundtrack. So somewhere in that Constantinople score, you're listening to an ordinary fan who entered a competition and won.

The Stone of Jas, one of the most fought-over artefacts in the game's history, wasn't just conjured out of nowhere — it was created by the Elder God Jas sacrificing her own egg to make it, which is a genuinely heavy price for something players now casually use for a bit of extra XP.
Loiter in the War Quarter of the Undercity and you'll find a small crowd of Forsaken standing around named Chloe Curthas, Tyler, Andrew Hartwell, Robert Gossom and a handful of others. Line the names up and it reads like a cast list for Fight Club, mixing character first names with the actors who played them in the film.
Keith Richards was originally supposed to make a cameo in this film, but touring commitments got in the way and he had to bow out. He'd eventually show up as Jack Sparrow's father a couple of sequels later instead.
The show's origin story hasn't been drama-free off screen either. One filmmaker claimed the Duffers lifted his unmade script Totem, about a young girl with powers, while another accused them of ripping off his short film about the Montauk Project.
