Man-Bat Was Never Actually in the Game

When the game came out, rumours spread fast that players had spotted Man-Bat hiding somewhere in Arkham City. People combed through the files looking for him, but there's genuinely nothing there. Not a single line of dialogue or asset referencing the character exists in this one, it was purely players seeing what they wanted to see.

The Skills That Got Cut Before Launch

An early build of Diablo II had a Necromancer skill that let you take mind control of enemies, and the Druid was meant to be able to shapeshift into an eagle on top of the wolf and bear forms we actually got. Both were scrapped before release.

The Extended Look Premiered on Netflix, Not YouTube

Rockstar broke from tradition for its big pre-launch gameplay reveal, premiering 'Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look' on Netflix on August 27th, 2026, before letting it loose for free on YouTube and the official site a few hours later that same evening.

The Ending Was Foreshadowed Mid-Game

During Kratos's very first fight with Baldur, he gets slammed into a stone slab, and if you catch it in the moment, that slab is carved with the exact same giant prophecy mural that shows up properly near the end. Most players only realise it on a replay.

Seventy Attempts to Turn Invisible

Miles' invisibility power sounds simple on paper, but figuring out how it should actually look on screen was a nightmare for the animation team. Keep an eye on the background during any of the show's big interdimensional or portal-hopping episodes, there's a small pink and blue alien creature that the animators have snuck into pretty much every single one of them as a running visual gag for eagle-eyed fans.

The Trailer That Leaked Itself Out Early

Trailer 1 was originally scheduled for December 5th, 2023, but a shaky bootleg copy hit social media the night before. Rather than let the leak steal the moment, Rockstar scrambled and dropped the real, full-quality trailer just hours later on December 4th.

The Lovecraft Library

In the far southwest of the map, south of Girdershade, sits a building stuffed with H.P. Lovecraft's writings and eerie cosmic-horror imagery, a quiet tribute tucked away from the game's main questlines.

Even Your Cat Judges Your Gear Choices

Your pet cat isn't just for show — if you wear a dragon chainbody around it, it'll actually talk back with some cheeky dialogue giving you grief about it.

Arcane Swept the Annie Awards

Between its two seasons, Arcane became the first TV series to sweep the Annie Awards in a single year, and it later racked up seven wins at the 52nd Annies for season two alone, more than any other nominated show that year including Dream Productions.
