The Brotherhood's Base Has A Hollywood Resume

The Brotherhood of Steel's headquarters was filmed at Wendover Airfield in Utah, a genuine WWII-era base that's now a museum. It's not the show's first brush with fame either, the same airfield has previously turned up in Con Air, Independence Day, and Ang Lee's Hulk.

There's a Fighting Game Built on Unreal Engine 5

Invincible VS, a fighting game spun off from the show, was developed by Quarter Up and published through Skybound Games, releasing on April 30, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and arcades. Several of the animated series' actual voice cast came back to reprise their characters for it, including J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man.

The Astrolabe Intro Tracks the War's History

The astrolabe device that appears in the season 8 opening titles isn't just decoration, it's basically a visual timeline of the whole show. 440 Trophies to Ruin Your Weekend

The Riddler really went all out for the sequel, hiding a total of 440 Riddler Trophies across Arkham City on top of 40 separate riddles to solve. Some of them are set aside specifically for Catwoman and glow a different colour, since Batman gets electrocuted if he tries to grab those ones himself. It roughly doubles what Arkham Asylum threw at players, which tells you a lot about Rocksteady's confidence in the bigger map.

Desmond's Coma and the Black Room

The framing story picks up right where Brotherhood left Desmond in pieces. After being forced to kill Lucy, he slips into a coma, and the only way to pull him back out is by diving through the Animus into Ezio's memories, which is really the whole reason we're reliving Constantinople in the first place.

Gunter Was The Biggest Foreshadow All Along

Way back in an early season, a throwaway line identifies Gunter as the most evil thing certain characters had ever encountered, and at the time it plays as a silly joke. Turns out it was quietly setting up one of the show's biggest cosmic reveals, since Gunter is secretly the ancient being Orgalorg.

Motion-Capture Horses for Safer Stunts

With over 200 horses used across the trilogy and huge battle scenes to shoot, the team put both horses and riders in motion capture suits and filmed their gallops and rears safely in a studio before digitally dropping them into the fighting.

Arcane Won Best Writing at the Annies for Its Finale

Season one's finale, 'The Monster You Created', took home the Annie Award for Best Writing in a TV/Media production, recognising just how much of the season's emotional weight was carried by the script rather than spectacle alone.
