Vault 114 was meant to be a haven for the Commonwealth's wealthiest, but the overseer picked to run it was a homeless man with no leadership experience and some fairly severe schizophrenic tendencies, nicknamed Soupcan Harry. It was less a shelter and more a study in what happens when the privileged get put under a lunatic's charge, and the body count in there tells you how that went.
Vacant got its own full multiplayer remake eventually, but a chunk of the original map is also tucked away near Port on the Verdansk map in Warzone, for anyone who fancies a nostalgic detour.

For most of Black Ops Cold War, you play as an operative named Bell, working alongside Adler's CIA team. Late in the story it comes out that Bell's entire backstory was implanted, and he was really a Russian operative working for the antagonist Perseus all along, a twist the game leans into pretty hard once your character starts remembering things that don't match the identity you'd been given.
Before he left the Ant-Man project, Edgar Wright actually wrote an after-credits scene intended for this film. It never made it into the finished cut, and details on what it would have shown have stayed pretty scarce ever since.
The film opens inside the Joint Dark Energy Mission Facility, a SHIELD and NASA site studying the Tesseract as part of Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. It seems like throwaway setup at the time, but that exact facility becomes central to Captain Marvel years later, when a young Nick Fury and Carol Danvers head there to dig into Dr Wendy Lawson's research.
A character in the game simply named Mom offers you rat pie, rat loaf, and spaghetti with rat sauce, and you can ask if there's anything without so much rat in it. That's a direct lift from Monty Python's Dead Bishop sketch, where Michael Palin's character asks for strawberry tart without so much rat in it. The joke even gets a callback later when a sheriff mentions it being tattooed on the back of your neck.
