Ghost Got a Complete Voice Recast

For The Taken King expansion, Bungie replaced Dinklage with veteran voice actor Nolan North, best known for Nathan Drake in Uncharted. Remarkably, North didn't just voice new lines, he re-recorded every single piece of Ghost dialogue from the original base game so the whole experience would feel consistent.

48 Heroes Pitched in One Morning

After Titan died, the leftover dev team (Team 4) had six weeks to come up with something new. On one particular morning everyone on the team had to pitch a hero idea, and by lunch they'd racked up 48 concepts — including a Russian woman riding a bear and dual-wielding AK-47s, whose ultimate had the bear pull out guns too. That one didn't make the cut, somehow.

Kassadin Might Be League's Most-Nerfed Champion

Irelia gets a reputation as the champion who's forever getting patched down, but Kassadin's numbers have quietly taken more hits over the years than almost anyone. Cooldowns stretched, damage trimmed, again and again, the poor Void Walker just can't catch a break.

Pickman Gallery & Kingsport Lighthouse

H.P. Lovecraft fans have plenty to chew on in the Commonwealth. Pickman Gallery and its unsettling artist owner are a nod to Lovecraft's short story Pickman's Model, while the Kingsport Lighthouse borrows its name from Lovecraft's fictional seaside town, seen in stories like The Terrible Old Man. Dunwich Borers piles on even more of the same eldritch dread.

Sombra Is Chasing a Hidden Conspiracy

There's a running thread in Overwatch lore about a conspiracy that isn't Overwatch or Talon — something bigger tying nearly every character together. Sombra's the only one actively digging into it, and her research suggests basically the entire cast has some kind of connection to it, even if most players never notice.

One Last Comic in the Post-Credits

Stick around for the finale's post-credits scene and there's a final QR code that unlocks Moon Knight Annual #1, a comic where he actually squares off against Kang the Conqueror, a character MCU fans had just met via a variant in Loki not long before.

Tears In Rain On The Mass Fusion Rooftop

Climb up to the roof of the Mass Fusion Containment Shed and you'll find a raider and a dead synth arranged in a way that mirrors the 'tears in rain' finale of Blade Runner. It's easy to miss since you need to clamber up some pipes and an air conditioning unit to spot it, but it's a genuinely moody little scene once you're up there.

Christopher Lee's Long Campaign for a Wizard Role

Christopher Lee wanted to play a wizard so badly that years earlier he'd deliberately auditioned for wizard-type roles just to build a case for himself. He even sent Peter Jackson a photo of himself dressed as one, half joke, half not-so-subtle hint.

Feed Braum's Poro Enough and It Grows a Moustache

Poros are already the most beloved thing Riot has ever made, but there's a bonus if you're playing Braum. Keep feeding your Poro-Snax to the same little critter and it eventually sprouts a big black moustache to match its owner. Purely cosmetic, completely unnecessary, and somehow one of the most-loved details in the game.

The Biggest Sandbox Naughty Dog Had Built

The Western Ghats hub area that Chloe and Nadine drive through wasn't just a bigger version of Uncharted 4's jeep sections, at the time of release, Naughty Dog described it as the largest open space the studio had ever put together for a game.
