Scattered around the Tower and other social spaces are small, non-interactive coins visually identical to the collectible Destiny Coin. They can be spotted tucked into bushes, tree branches, and rafters, but can never actually be picked up.
Bungie deliberately kept the full scope of Halo 3's secrets a mystery even after launch. When fans asked the community team directly whether every easter egg had been found, the response was blunt: players would never find them all, and Bungie wouldn't be giving out hints, because the mystery was part of the magic.
Whilst your on the loading screen on December 25th (Christmas Day), if you press down on both thumbsticks a wider view of teh Halo Ring will display and if you look closely you can make out 'Happy Birthday, Lauren!' displayed on the rings surface.
