The Jaximus Skin Honours a Make-A-Wish Kid

The Jaximus skin has a genuinely heartfelt story behind it. It was created to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation after a young patient visiting Riot named Jax as his favourite champion, and every so often Jax will still say "here's to you, kid" as a small tribute to him.

Mobius's House Number Points To Another Earth

When Loki tracks down a Sacred Timeline version of Mobius, we learn his real name is Don and his house is numbered 1049. Fans have latched onto this as a possible nod to Earth-1049, one of the countless designated realities scattered across Marvel's multiverse.

A Knightfall Nod on the Game Over Screen

Die at the wrong moment and one of the Game Over screens shows Bane snapping Batman over his knee. It's a direct lift from the iconic 'broken bat' scene in the Knightfall comics, and a genuinely nasty little punishment for messing up the fight.

The Mansion With the Rude Pool

There's a mansion on Starfish Island with a swimming pool that looks completely normal from ground level. Get up high enough to look straight down on it though, and the pool's shape plus the rocks at the bottom form the unmistakable outline of a woman's torso in a bikini. Somebody on the art team clearly had fun with that one and knew most players would never bother checking from above.

A Building Numbered After A Kang Comic

Keep an eye on the TVA architecture in the season one premiere and you'll spot a structure marked "T-282." It's a nod to The Mighty Thor issue 282, the comic that first introduced an incarnation of Kang the Conqueror going by the name Immortus.

The Mannequin Watching You

There's a mannequin in the Visitor Center that looks harmless enough at first glance. Hang around and turn away for a bit, though, and its arms will have moved when you look back. It's never explained in the moment, but by the end of the game it's pretty clear who was hiding in plain sight the whole time.

Five Teams, One Location

Some of Uncharted 4's biggest open areas had to be scaled back because of time pressure. For The Lost Legacy, Naughty Dog restructured how it built environments, letting as many as five separate teams work on a single location at once so the game's big open space wouldn't suffer the same fate.

Verrückt Started Life on iPhone Too

Verrückt wasn't just console and PC DLC - it also launched as a $4.99 standalone add-on for the Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies app on iPhone, complete with nine new weapons and its own set of 13 achievements bolted on for mobile players.

Children Are Almost Nowhere to Be Found

There's a noticeable lack of child characters wandering around the Mojave. Early on the team apparently planned to bring back Fallout 3's Child at Heart perk, but because so few kids ended up in the final game, the perk was left in as unused code that never actually gets triggered by anything.

Hands Off Croc's Locker

In Intensive Treatment you can find the old holding area for Killer Croc, security collars and all. One of the lockers nearby has a photo of Croc's hand taped to it, along with a scrawled warning to keep your mitts off. Small detail, but it does a lot to sell how much everyone at Arkham fears the guy.
