An original concept for Aang had him coming from a Futuristic Sci-Fi world, with Aang being the last suvivor taking him 1000 years into the future as the world reverts back to a more ancient time. Momo would also be a robot cyclops monkey which sounds pretty cool (not that we'd ever want to change him).
Codsworth can recognise and say almost a thousand pre-recorded player names, which is already a lot of work for a video game companion. Henry Avery isn't a Naughty Dog invention. He's built on the real historical figure Henry Every, a 17th-century English pirate whose exploits were so notorious that he became one of the most wanted men on the planet.
