The rune spear in RuneScape Classic might be one of the strangest weapons Jagex ever added. It had roughly a 1-in-a-million drop chance from mid-to-high level monsters, and despite that rarity it was a throwable ranged weapon — meaning you'd permanently lose it the moment you actually used it.
