Once you're loose from the interrogation chair, typing DOA into the CIA terminal drops a full top-down zombie shooter called Dead Ops Arcade into your Zombies menu. It plays like a twin-stick Smash TV knockoff, and getting through the opening sequence just to reach it was such a rite of passage that later ports kept the exact same trigger-mashing intro untouched.

The unsettling corridors of Hawkins Lab have been shot inside a genuine decommissioned psychiatric hospital owned by Emory University in Atlanta. The building was actually scheduled for demolition back in 2023, but the writers' and actors' strikes that year delayed filming, which ended up pushing back the building's destruction too.
All Might didn't just invent his catchphrase out of thin air, the Latin phrase 'Plus Ultra' is the real-life motto of Spain, meaning 'further beyond.' It dates back centuries and shows up on the Spanish flag's coat of arms.
Unlike other zombies maps where you play as a named character, Nuketown Zombies just drops you in as an anonymous CIA or CDC operative, and which side you get assigned to is randomized at the start of every match.
