A Stash Hidden in the Garden

On the campaign level The Hornet's Nest, break away from the main path and head right, then cut through a shack tucked near some barrels. Keep pushing and you'll end up in a small garden with a stash of items waiting at the far wall, if you know where to turn.

Gollum's Cough Came From a Cat

Andy Serkis has said that Gollum's wet, rattling cough is modelled on the sound his own cat made when it was hacking up a hairball. Not exactly a glamorous inspiration, but it worked.

Marco Polo Makes a Comeback

The old Marco Polo minigame, first seen as a lighthearted moment between Nate and Elena back in Uncharted 2, shows up again here as a small optional distraction, a nice quiet callback for anyone who's been with the series a while.

JB Blanc Voices Both Vander and Warwick

JB Blanc doesn't just voice Vander, he also plays Warwick once the transformation happens, meaning the same actor carries the character all the way through his tragic arc from father figure to feral weapon.

Critics Rated It Higher Than Squid Game at Launch

Within a week of its first three episodes dropping, Arcane had a 100% Tomatometer score and a 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, edging out Squid Game's numbers at the time and setting the record for Netflix's best-reviewed original series to that point.

The Plumber Achievement's Warp Pipe Icon

Emily Rose landed the role of Elena Fisher almost by accident, she'd just tagged along to support a friend who was auditioning, and ended up getting cast herself thanks to the chemistry she showed reading opposite Nolan North.

Pharah Grew Up Idolizing Overwatch

Long before she suited up as Pharah, Fareeha Amari was a kid who was completely obsessed with Overwatch and everything it stood for. It makes her eventual path into the organization feel less like a coincidence and more like something she was working toward her whole life.

Mr. Poopybutthole Was Retroactively Added

Mr. Poopybutthole technically first shows up in Total Rickall, but the production team went back and edited him into the memory scenarios shown in that episode's own opening scenes to sell the joke that he'd secretly always been part of the family. So depending how you look at it, he was either never there before, or he always was.

Vander Was Warwick All Along

That fan theory going around since season one turned out to be spot on. Singed brings Vander back from the brink after his fight with Silco by turning him into Warwick, the feral beast champion. According to the animation team, the idea that Vander's stubborn resilience would eventually make him into Warwick was baked into the character from the very start of the show.
