McCartney's Shelved Musical Suite

'Hope for the Future' was originally part of a larger orchestral suite McCartney composed for Destiny called 'Music of the Spheres.' Bungie shelved the full suite during development, and it wasn't released to the public until 2018, bundled with vinyl preorders of a Destiny soundtrack collection.

Burt Reynolds Nearly Threw Hands in the Booth

Recording sessions weren't always smooth sailing. Burt Reynolds, who plays wealthy businessman Avery Carrington, reportedly got so irritated by Dan Houser hanging around during his session that things nearly turned physical between the two of them. Reynolds ended up delivering a great performance anyway, but it says something that Rockstar mostly moved away from big-name actors after GTA IV.

Bigfoot Actually Exists in Undead Nightmare

Grab the Undead Nightmare DLC and you can genuinely track down and kill Bigfoot, a direct wink at the years of rumours that Bigfoot was hidden somewhere in GTA San Andreas. Rockstar basically decided to settle the debate by giving players the real thing, teeth and all.

The Credits Sequence That Never Happened

Game director Sefton Hill has talked about an idea where the end credits would've turned into an interactive fight scene against Rocksteady's own staff, with each knocked-out developer's name and job title flashing up in slow motion as you beat them. It sounds like an absolute blast, but it never made it past the planning stage.

Kraes of Immersang, Silvermoon's Self-Proclaimed Prince

Wander into Silvermoon City and you might bump into Kraes of Immersang, a troll NPC billed as a self-proclaimed prince. His flavour text piles on every over-the-top backstory cliché roleplay servers are famous for, right down to a throwaway line about fighting a personal war against a random player named Joshua Fuesting. It's Blizzard gently poking fun at its own community.

The Dark Brotherhood's Sweetroll Precedes Skyrim by Nearly Two Decades

The guard line mocking players about a stolen sweetroll is rooted in a character-creation question going all the way back to 1994's The Elder Scrolls: Arena, where a gang of children demand the player's sweetroll in an alleyway, a scenario that shaped starting stats and later resurfaced across nearly every mainline Elder Scrolls game.

Seasons Four And Five Were Shot Back To Back

Rather than shooting one season, wrapping, and starting fresh later, the production filmed season four and the upcoming fifth and final season together in one continuous stretch, which is how the show plans to close out its story.

One Piece Ditched Its Year-Round Schedule in 2026

For over two decades, new One Piece episodes aired continuously, week after week, all year long. That changed heading into the Elbaph Arc, when producer Ryuta Koike announced the show would move to two shorter broadcast blocks a year, capping new episodes at around 26 annually so the anime could better match the manga's own pacing instead of racing to fill a weekly slot.

One Piece and Dragon Ball Once Shared a Comic

Oda's friendship with Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama went beyond mutual respect. In 2006 the two collaborated on Cross Epoch, a one-off short story that threw characters from both series into the same world, a genuine crossover between two of Shonen Jump's biggest names rather than just a fan mash-up.

Diablo Almost Looked Completely Different

Before settling on the dark isometric look everyone knows, Diablo was at one point going to be rendered using claymation. It's genuinely hard to picture Tristram's gothic dread working the same way with stop-motion clay models.
