Why It's Called the Gravemind
The name of the Flood's central intelligence wasn't lifted from any existing mythology, it was coined by Bungie staff writer Jaime Griesemer specifically for the character. The Gravemind is voiced throughout the trilogy by actor Dee Bradley Baker, known for his extensive voice work across animation and games.
Mark Ruffalo Played Both Banner and the Hulk
Thanks to how far motion capture had come by 2012, Ruffalo wasn't just voicing the Hulk in cutaways, he actually performed the majority of Hulk's physical movement himself in a mocap suit. It's the first time in a live action film that both sides of Banner were played by the same actor, and you can genuinely see Ruffalo's mannerisms in the big guy if you look closely.
No Trophies at Launch on PS3
PlayStation 3 owners picking this up at launch wouldn't have found a single trophy to earn. Sony's trophy system simply hadn't been built into the platform yet when the game shipped.
