In a world populated with superhumans, the superhero-loving Izuku Midoriya is without power. However, after the Quirkless dreamer Izuku inherits the powers of the world's best superhero, All Might, his hopes of becoming the top hero are now possible. Once enrolled in the high school for heroes, U.A., Izuku soon discovers being a hero is much more complicated than it appears.

When MHA's manga wrapped up, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda marked the occasion by redrawing a piece of fan art a 15-year-old Horikoshi had actually mailed him 22 years earlier, long before Horikoshi was a professional artist. It's the same trick Oda pulled when Naruto and Dragon Ball ended, turning old fan submissions into farewell tributes.
When Stan Lee passed away, MHA fans online paid tribute by redrawing the classic 1963 Amazing Spider-Man #50 cover, but swapped Spider-Man's webbing for Sero's tape-based Cellophane Quirk. It's a fitting tribute given how openly MHA borrows from the Marvel aesthetic Lee helped build.
