Keep an eye on the walls of the museum where Steven works in episode one — there's a QR code hidden in plain sight, and if you scan it you actually get sent to a free download of Werewolf by Night #32, the comic where Moon Knight made his very first appearance back in the 70s.
Steven's goldfish tank back at his flat is decorated with a tiny pyramid and a little model of Taweret's boat, both of which show up for real later in the season. Given how obsessed Steven is with Egyptology, it makes sense his fish would live somewhere themed to match.
Early in episode one, a little girl asks Steven if it hurt when he got rejected from the Field of Reeds. It's such a throwaway moment first time round, but it's actually setting up exactly what happens to him falling from Taweret's boat in episode five.
While working in the gift shop stockroom, Steven hands his coworker Donna a box full of plush toys shaped like the hippo goddess Taweret. It's a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, but it's really the show quietly planting the seed for one of the biggest reveals of the season.
Outside Marc's storage unit in episode two, there's yet another scannable QR code, and this one unlocks Werewolf by Night #33 — the second issue Moon Knight ever appeared in, following straight on from the one hidden in episode one.
When Steven goes rifling through Marc's storage unit, he pulls out an American passport, and if you pause on it, Marc Spector's birthday is listed as March 9th — which just so happens to be Oscar Isaac's actual birthday in real life.
When Billy and Bobbi go through their case file on Marc Spector after nabbing Steven, the file's numbered 1975. That's not a random number they picked — it's the year Moon Knight first showed up on the page in Marvel's comics.
During the jackal fight at the end of episode two, a double-decker bus rolls past with the number 32 on it (another Werewolf by Night nod) plus an ad for the Global Repatriation Council — the same organisation the Flag Smashers were causing chaos over in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Marc's passport isn't the only one playing this game — Layla El-Faouly's passport in episode three lists her birthday as October 28th, which lines up exactly with actress May Calamawy's real birthday.
There's a QR code tucked away in the asylum in episode five, right next to Steven as he peers through one of the doors. Scan it and it takes you to Moon Knight #1, the character's very first solo comic book.
