Season 4 brought in some heavy hitters, with Lee Pace stepping in to voice Thragg, one of the show's most dangerous Viltrumite threats, alongside Matthew Rhys joining the cast in the same run. It's part of a pattern of the show continuing to pull in bigger names as the story escalates.
Invincible VS, a fighting game spun off from the show, was developed by Quarter Up and published through Skybound Games, releasing on April 30, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and arcades. Several of the animated series' actual voice cast came back to reprise their characters for it, including J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man.
Before he took on the role of Cecil Stedman, Walton Goggins had already dipped a toe into the genre playing Sonny Burch in Ant-Man and the Wasp. His casting as the calculating head of the Global Defense Agency in Invincible fits a pattern where a lot of the show's cast had prior comic book adaptation experience before joining.
