The Dentist's Chair

In one of the very first rooms of Nacht der Untoten there's an old dentist's chair just sitting there. Hold the action button on the wheel at its base and you'll hear the drill start up along with a man screaming. Nobody needed that in a zombie survival map but here we are.

Flush The Toilet Three Times

One of the more bizarre hidden songs in Nacht der Untoten, 'Lullaby for a Dead Man,' only plays if you flush one of the toilets in the map three times. Treyarch clearly had some spare hours to burn on this one.

Dial the Phone, Hear 'The One'

Head to the hut with the Comm Room section and dial the telephone three times and you'll trigger a hidden song called 'The One.' It's the sort of thing you'd never stumble on without a guide, which is half the fun.

The 115 Song

Activate all three pieces of the meteor scattered around Nacht der Untoten and the map rewards you with a hidden track called '115' - named after the fictional element that basically drives the entire Zombies storyline going forward.

The Giant Cow of Crossroads

Tucked away in a hidden room on the Crossroads map (from the United Offensive-style content) is a giant cow, which most people reckon is a cheeky nod to Saturday Night Live's 'More Cowbell' sketch. Very random, very Treyarch.

The Hidden Snowman

On The Russian, there's a snowman wedged between two trees that most players run straight past without noticing. It's not exactly hard to find once you know it's there, but blink and you'll miss it mid-firefight.

Free Ray Gun in Little Resistance

Right at the start of Little Resistance there are three puddles along the beach. Stand in each one for about ten seconds, working your way along, and staring at a palm tree by the last one triggers a fake 'earthquake' followed by Japanese statues rising up holding a Ray Gun for you to grab. Great way to farm points if you're playing co-op.

The Meteorite Outside the Map

Walk past the little shed in the Storage area of Nacht der Untoten and look out past the barriers - there's a big red meteorite just sitting out there beyond the playable space. It ties back to the whole 115/meteor lore thread that runs through Zombies.

The Three (or Four) Gun Trick

There's a long-known Zombies exploit where you grab a Mystery Box weapon while still mid-animation drinking a Perk-a-Cola, letting you carry three guns instead of two. Get downed while holding a live grenade, get revived, and repeat the trick to stack even more. It's fiddly but people were doing it for years before it got patched out in later titles.

It Was Almost Called Call of Duty V

Before settling on World at War, Treyarch and Activision were reportedly planning to just call this one Call of Duty V, keeping the numbered naming from the earlier games going. Glad they didn't - 'World at War' has aged a lot better as a title.
