A Fan's Voice Made It Into the Score

Ubisoft ran a public contest called the UJAM Voice of Assassin's Creed Revelations, and the winner, Madeline Bell, actually got her vocals featured on the finished soundtrack. So somewhere in that Constantinople score, you're listening to an ordinary fan who entered a competition and won.

Just How Old Is Ezio by Now?

It's easy to lose track of time across three games, but Ubisoft has pegged the House of Auditore saga as covering somewhere between 23 and 30 years of Ezio's life, from the hot-headed young noble of AC2 to the tired, world-weary man wrapping up his story in Constantinople.

Ezio Turns Up in Some Unexpected Places

Ezio's story might wrap up in Revelations, but Ubisoft clearly liked the character enough to lend him out. He showed up as a guest fighter in Soul Calibur V and even had a cameo in the mobile title Academy of Champions: Soccer, of all things.

The Mobile Spinoff Told Its Own Story

Alongside the console and PC release, Gameloft put out a completely separate Assassin's Creed: Revelations for mobile phones, done up as a 2D side-scroller. It quietly drops Sofia Sartor, Suleiman and Yusuf's death from the story entirely, and even gives Ezio two goes on Leonardo's flying machine, something the main game never lets you do.

Fixing an Old Continuity Slip

Levantine Assassins are supposed to be missing the ring finger they sacrifice for the Hidden Blade, but the very first Assassin's Creed didn't always bother showing it. Revelations quietly went back and cleaned that detail up, so the animation actually matches the lore this time around.
